Artist's Comments
This was the last project I had to do for my Typography class this quarter. The assignment was to outline the form of a person's body in Illustrator and use that outline as the shape of an area of text.
Pressed for time, I came up with this idea just two nights ago, and did the whole thing (except for the quick airbrush job of Spike's face and forearms) earlier today. The text is lyrics from the song "Gotta Knock a Little Harder" from the Cowboy Bebop movie soundtrack. No reason for where the lyrics cut off; that's just the last line that fit into the form. Anyway, just posting stuff to prove I'm alive. The doujin hiatus? Yeah... it's still goin'... I'm almost caught up on priority work (I think I mean it this time), so maybe sometime soon I'll get a few more pages up... Please don't ask about the doujin. Kingdom Hearts isn't the only thing I do, y'know... blah blah blah... Spike Spiegel is from Cowboy Bebop... duh... I guess...? |

I like the artwork they use for such moichendise, so I tried to emulate that, even though I just needed it to be detailed enough to give the words more Bebop context... ^__^
