Man-Faye has met his match. For now behold, Man-Yoko, the cosplay nightmare!
So apparently Gurren Lagaan is a pretty sweet show? I've read it's one of those "make you cry manly tears in the end" stories... Currently, my benchmark for good anime is the Full Metal Panic canon... How's it compare to FMP? If I get into the show, maybe I'll do a legitimate fanart—I say that... I've yet to actually complete a fanart of Full Metal Panic, so who knows...! Anyway, this came about from looking up Gurren Lagaan artwork here on deviantart (must be pretty good; there's a lot of decent artwork up! *knock on wood as I think of Inuyasha or Teen Titans*) and somebody had drawn one of those wierd pictures where they take some slender, buxom vixen and add on about 200 pounds... I immediately recalled THIS that I did for class: [link] ...And then I recalled the visual atrocity known as Man-Faye: [link] ...And then I thought, what could be worse than Man-Faye? The obvious choice was a guy who kinda looks like Carl from 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force' dressing up as Yoko from 'Gurren Lagaan': Man-Yoko... And thus I proceeded to revisit my other piece and burn my retinas for another few hours as I transformed him into the aesthetic travesty you now see before you... You're welcome. |
